Congratulations! I’m assuming if you’re reading this blog post that there’s a chance you’re freshly engaged. That is for sure something to celebrate. However, after that initial rush of excitement passes it’s time to get down to the nitty gritty.

You’ve got a wedding to plan!

All throughout the process for planning our wedding, my wife and I heard the same piece of advice over and over. “At the end of the day you’ll be married and that’s all that matters.” Honestly, it’s the truth. The problem is that I was in full on Groomzilla mode and didn’t believe it…that is until the 1st kiss, then I believed every word.

So why is everyone so extremely stressed while planning their big day? To me the answer is actually pretty simple. For most people a wedding is something they’ve never done before. Sure, they’ve been to them, been in them, and seen every version possible on movies and tv. This time it’s different, it’s their turn.

It’s YOUR turn!!!

Don’t freak out. It’s all going to work out in the end, but why not make it a little easier on yourself by leaning on some experts?

This February 22nd, 2014 in Lexington, Kentucky at the Hilton Downtown Simply Love Studio is putting on their Bridal Benchmark series. I know, I know…what’s that? It’s ok, you’re new to this wedding thing.

That Saturday from 10am thru 4pm you will have an opportunity to listen to various photographers, caterers, venues, etc speak on all kinds of wedding related subjects.

  • A LOT more!

We’re honored to be participating again this year. I’ve been in the wedding industry for several years and I always learn something.┬áThe cost is simply $10 and lunch is provided! Come on, you’re gonna pay $10 for lunch anyway…you might as well relieve a little wedding planning stress too.
