It’s a tale as old as time itself…the groom not wanting to do a first look. I get it. It’s tradition and somewhere inside they feel as though they’re losing a moment by not seeing their bride to be for the first time walking down the aisle. Whereas in my mind they’re gaining a bigger moment…a more intimate moment.
Somehow over time Emily and I won Lee over to our side…I think he’d agree his was more than happy with that decision.
This wedding took place at The Pioneer Playhouse, a location I’d never been too. It’s absolutely amazing! It has a rustic feel with it’s own movie set like streets lined with buildings, a cabin, and all kinds of greenery. I actually wound up coming back a week later to shoot my daughter’s prom photos there. 🙂
Both the bridesmaids and the groomsmen did all the preparation at Warrenwood Manor, which if you haven’t checked out, I HIGHLY recommend.
